DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT TO TRY ON WEDDING GOWNS?
Yes, it is strongly recommended that you make an appointment to try on wedding gowns. Please call us at 416-463-6601 or email us to set up an appointment.
HOW LONG ARE THE APPOINTMENTS?
Appointments are approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes long.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE TO I NEED TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
It is best to book an appointment at least 1-2 weeks in advance, especially if you plan to come on the weekend or in the evening.
HOW MANY PEOPLE DO YOU RECOMMEND I BRING TO THE APPOINTMENT?
Although we do not limit the size of your group, we recommend bringing no more than 2-3 people to the appointment. Too many varied opinions can cloud a bride's personal taste.
WHAT DO I NEED WEAR TO THE APPOINTMENT, AS FAR AS UNDERGARMENTS?
It is best to wear a strapless bra, especially if you are considering a strapless gown. We recommend wearing full undergarments, light in colour.
WHAT IS THE PRICE RANGE OF YOUR WEDDING GOWNS?
Our wedding gowns range in price from $1000 to $3500; with the majority priced between $1500 and $2500. We also carry a wide selection of off-the-rack gowns that range between $600 and $1500.
DO YOU OFFER SAMPLE SIZES FOR CURVY BRIDES?
We have an entire section dedicated to curvy brides with sample sizes in this section ranging from 18-22. The majority of these gowns are available for re-order up to size 32.
DO YOU CARRY ANY LOCAL/CANADIAN DESIGNERS?
We are proud to feature our in-house line, Barbra Allin, where the full collection is designed and produced exclusively at our shop. We also carry Paloma Blanca and Mikaella which are both Toronto-based designs.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO ORDER A WEDDING GOWN?
Typically it takes approximately 4-6 months to order a wedding gown. Most companies do offer "Rush" delivery at an additional charge. Alterations start approximately 6-10 weeks prior to your wedding date. Therefore, ideally, it is best to book your gown at least 8 months in advance.
IS THERE STORE PARKING?
We do not have dedicated store parking, but there are municipal lots in the area. The closest municipal lot to our boutique is just north of Danforth Avenue on Arundel Avenue. There is also street parking available. Please note that cars parked on the south side of Danforth Avenue between 4-6pm, Monday-Friday, will be towed.
ARE YOU WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Our store is wheelchair accessible with the exception of our restroom. Our restroom is located downstairs, which is only accessible through a set of stairs.
