DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT TO TRY ON WEDDING GOWNS?

HOW LONG ARE THE APPOINTMENTS?
Appointments are approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes long.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE TO I NEED TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
It is best to book an appointment at least 1-2 weeks in advance, especially if you plan to come on the weekend or in the evening.
WHAT DO I NEED WEAR TO THE APPOINTMENT, AS FAR AS UNDERGARMENTS?
It is best to wear a strapless bra, especially if you are considering a strapless gown. We recommend wearing full undergarments, light in colour.
WHAT IS THE PRICE RANGE OF YOUR WEDDING GOWNS?
Our wedding gowns currently range in price from $1300 to $2800 with the majority priced between $1800 and $$2300. We also carry a wide selection of off-the-rack gowns that range between $500 and $1000.
DO YOU OFFER SAMPLE SIZES FOR PLUS SIZE BRIDES?
We do not specialize in plus size bridal. We have a selection of samples ranging in street size 12-16 (bridal size 16-20). Bridal sizing is not the same as street sizing. Street sizing 12-16 equates to bridal sizing 16-20. A selection of these gowns are available to be reordered up to a bridal size 32, however, we do not have any samples in store larger than a bridal size 20 (street size 16). Please contact us if you would like to know more about any of the samples available in store in our Curvy Collection.
DO YOU CARRY ANY LOCAL/CANADIAN DESIGNERS?
We are proud to feature our in-house line, Barbra Allin, where the full collection is designed and produced exclusively at our shop. We also carry Paloma Blanca and Mikaella which are both Toronto-based designs.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO ORDER A WEDDING GOWN?
Typically it takes approximately 4-6 months to order a wedding gown. Most companies do offer "Rush" delivery at an additional charge. Alterations start approximately 6-10 weeks prior to your wedding date. Therefore, ideally, it is best to book your gown at least 8 months in advance.
IS THERE STORE PARKING?
We do not have dedicated store parking, but there are municipal lots in the area. The closest municipal lot to our boutique in just north of Danforth Avenue on Chester Avenue. There is also street parking available.
ARE YOU WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Our store is wheelchair accessible with the exception of our restroom. Our restroom is located downstairs, which is only accessible through a set of stairs.
